Michael currently defines Science Fiction as a genre meant to talk about technology that can help or destroy current life. Science Fiction is important to Michael since the beginning of watching a TV show called Gundam. His father was interested and Michael wanted to know why was it so interesting to his father. So he invested time with reading and watching. He soon understood why and started to branch off a little from his father. It became so compelling and each new book talked about different problems with the same idea of technology. Then TV shows that involved giant robots told a story of something that involved something larger than just Earth alone. That is why Michael truly enjoys Science Fiction. Michael truly hopes to learn that what is dreamed constantly by young or old authors could become to reality. Man traveling the stars, man truly becoming one with the Matrix. Man even understanding that there are something's not meant for a young race such as us. It becomes meaningful for the idea that there are somethings best left alone in this old universe.Michael's current interest in Science Fiction is giant robots and the matrix. He isn't technically skilled in understanding the engineering of the makeups of these things. Five things that Michael hopes to answer through this trimester. Is it possible to find like minded people with giant robots and giant battleships. Is there american authors that write stories of the vast universe with a battleship all on its own. What is the true definition of Science Fiction and can it be expanded from it. Would adding fantasy to Science Fiction still classify as Science Fiction or would it be something else. Then the last question he is pondering about is there truly ever going to be a time when all these science fiction ideas become meaningless because we already discovered all of them. Some information studies that he truly believes will be important for future reference. Is one the internet, another would be the Dictionary, and lastly a companion or two so that he can have a second opinion or two.
