Well, this week has been chaotic in its own sense. I mean the only thing I can really discuss what I learned would honestly be two things. I know their might be more to discuss but sadly that is what can only come to mind.
The number one thing I learned is truly TP-CASTT. This thing is useful for plenty of reasons. I know this will help me on the SAT's that I am taking again soon. IT can also help me for future reference. Because what it does is actually a way to memorize all the important things needed to analyzing a poem. For what it stands are: Title, Paraphrase, Connotation, Attitude, Shifts, Title, and Theme. If I can remember what each initial stands for then I will be able to have one step closer to analyzing the poem. That is the most important thing that I learned this week for which I would like to carry on for life.
The second thing I learned is something I first to explain before I get to the point. I do apologize about that but it is essential to explain this. So again I do apologize about it.
To begin, when you read the context the first time. It might present itself as something as obvious as what the title might stand for. But when you read it again, it can break itself into two pathways. The pathway might be an assurance that you are indeed on the right pathway. Same scenario and you continue on with more examples to back up your statement. Or it can reveal itself with something even more than what you expected. Maybe you read a certain few words wrong or it finally clicks to some different output. Then this changes the whole meaning behind the poem. it'll come to bother with how it never revealed itself the first time. But it took maybe the second time or even more. It is an interesting moment to discover if haven't encountered it yet.
Tis time to go my young companion. I hope you'll have a nice time this weekend and do not stress yourself out to much. That is all I request. But wait I have one more thing to discuss before I leave for something so trivial to life. What does TP-CASTT stand for?
